In 2010 we plan to re-route the trail across the top Flint Hill to the perimeter ridge at the top. This re-route will take the trail out of most of that real sticky mud Flat Rock Ranch hill tops are famous for when wet. The re-route will allow for a new trail with fantastic views and some technical rocky sections. I promise we will leave Jimmy’s Joy alone.
We also plan to build more turning berms and de-rut some older sections. This work will depend on moisture content of the soil.
We do encourage camping on Paydirt weekends. The weekend of January 9-10 we plan to have some swag to raffle and refreshing cold beverages for Saturday night (more details on this later). Also we have plans for a large non-explosive camp fire Saturday night.
